Job summary

OU Health seeks an Advanced Practice Provider (APP) such as an APRN or PA to join a multidisciplinary team in Oklahoma City. The APP will perform comprehensive assessments, order and interpret studies, and develop dynamic care plans while documenting in the EMR.

They will educate patients and families, coordinate care across settings, and participate in education and research activities. Qualified candidates hold applicable Oklahoma licenses with prescriptive authority within 30 days, and must

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program as APRN or physician assistant program with master's degree.
• Active Oklahoma RN/APRN or PA license; prescriptive authority within 30 days.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, ATLS required within 90 days of hire.
• Advanced certifications as required by role.
• No experience required.

Responsibilities

• Performs history and physical assessments appropriate for age and clinical problem.
• Orders diagnostic studies and interprets results.
• Develops and evaluates plans of care; adjusts as needed.
• Maintains accurate EMR documentation in a timely manner.
• Provides patient- and family-centered care across the lifespan.
• Facilitates coordinated care and clear communication among the team.
• Participates in education of students and health professionals.
• Engages in quality initiatives and interdisciplinary collaboration.
