Job summary

SSM Health Cardinal Glennon Children’s Hospital in Missouri seeks an experienced RN for a leadership role in the PICU. You will lead unit staffing on night shifts, coordinate patient care, and collaborate with advance practice providers to achieve quality outcomes.

Requirements include an accredited nursing degree and 1 year of RN experience. BLS, ALS and state licenses are required, with opportunities for growth and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Registered nurse licensure in MO or IL with current CPR/BLS.
• Minimum 1 year of RN experience in an acute care setting.
• Leadership or charge nurse experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Directs nursing staff during night shift and assigns patient care.
• Collaborates with advanced practice providers to ensure outcomes.
• Monitors patient care quality and addresses issues.
• Assists in hiring, training and staff development.
• Maintains safety and compliance; performs other duties as assigned.
