Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Foil Press Operator/Picture Framer role located in Anah eim, CA.

Role summary

Sets up and operates the foil stamping press to order specifications, branding the university name and seal onto mat board with hot foil. Fast-paced, standing for long periods; every job is different, so attention to detail and quality are essential.

Responsibilities

• Run the foil stampers at top production speed while keeping quality high, and be thorough with detail.
• Make ready (set up) and operate the stampers; set up and run all deboss foil stamping.
• Read and follow job tickets/order instructions and set the machine to spec.
• Identify, troubleshoot and correct product defects; tell the supervisor about defect trends and nonconforming foil quality.
• Do preventive and corrective maintenance on the stampers as needed.
• Handle special projects assigned by management.

Requirements

• Read a ruler in standard and metric (mm).
• Read and understand English.
• 1 year of machine operator experience.
• Team player, detail oriented, troubleshooter, resourceful.
• Follow verbal and written instructions.
• Available for occasional weekends and holidays.
