Position Summary

The Picnic Attendant provides hospitality for guests in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. This role pays an hourly wage of $12 to $14, plus tips.

Responsibilities:

1. Read and understand Banquet Event Orders.
2. Provide fine dining level food and beverage service to guests for all events, consistent with DLTCC standards of service.
3. Maintain friendly and professional contact with guests, ensuring all needs are anticipated and met.
4. Set up and maintain food and beverage stations throughout the building, adhering to DLTCC standards.
5. Inventory and maintain supplies for food and beverage stations.
6. Keep event areas and front-of-house staging areas tidy and organized.
7. Participate in setup and cleanup of food and beverage service items.
8. Work independently during slower times.
9. Promote a safe and clean work environment.
10. Engage in high levels of social contact, working closely with staff and patrons.
11. Work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and select holidays.
12. Ensure work is accurate and complete by paying attention to detail.
13. Multi-task effectively.
14. Handle and move objects safely.
15. Maintain a customer-focused, positive, and professional attitude.
16. Read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
17. Possess basic arithmetic skills.
18. Stand for extended periods.
19. Perform physical activities such as bending, stretching, twisting, or reaching.
20. Lift, push, pull, or carry objects up to 30 lbs., often 15 lbs.
21. Maintain punctuality and consistent attendance.
22. Respond appropriately to simple customer inquiries or complaints.
