Arcis Golf is seeking a dynamic Pickleball Professional to lead instruction, events, and social programming at The Country Club of the South in Johns Creek, GA. You will create inclusive programs for members of all ages and skill levels while promoting participation and sportmanship.

You will also oversee court usage, coordinate with club management, and contribute to club revenue through clinics and merchandise. This role emphasizes service, energy, and a welcoming, social atmosphere.

Qualifications

  • Experience as a Pickleball Professional, Instructor, or high-level player.
  • Certification from USA Pickleball, PPR, or IPTPA preferred.
  • Strong teaching and communication skills.
  • Ability to engage members in social and competitive settings.
  • Knowledge of pickleball programming, league formats, and event planning.
  • Energetic, professional, and service-oriented demeanor.

Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality private and group pickleball instruction for all ages and skill levels.
  • Design and implement clinics, leagues, mixers, and instructional programs.
  • Promote player development and long-term participation.
  • Oversee daily pickleball court scheduling and maintenance.
  • Organize internal leagues, club championships, and social events.

Position Summary

The Pickleball Professional is responsible for the development, promotion, and daily management of the club’s pickleball program. This role delivers exceptional instruction, organizes engaging events, and fosters a welcoming, social, and competitive environment that enhances the overall member experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Program Development & InstructionProvide high-quality private and group pickleball instruction for all ages and skill levelsDesign and implement clinics, leagues, mixers, and instructional programsDevelop beginner pathways while maintaining advanced-level programmingPromote player development and encourage long-term participation
  • Member EngagementCreate a vibrant and inclusive pickleball communityFacilitate social events, round robins, and themed mixersBuild strong relationships with members and actively promote participationAssist in onboarding new members into pickleball programming
  • Operations & Court ManagementOversee daily pickleball court scheduling and usageCoordinate with tennis and club management to optimize court allocationEnsure courts and equipment are maintained to club standardsEnforce club rules, etiquette, and pace of play
  • Events & TournamentsOrganize internal leagues, club championships, and social eventsPlan and execute sanctioned and non-sanctioned tournamentsCollaborate with other departments for cross-programming opportunities
  • Retail & Revenue GenerationAssist with pro shop merchandising specific to pickleball (paddles, balls, apparel)Drive lesson revenue and program participationPromote clinics, events, and special programming
  • Team CollaborationWork closely with the Director of Racquets / Tennis staffSupport overall racquets programming when neededParticipate in club events and interdisciplinary activities
Qualifications
  • Prior experience as a Pickleball Professional, Instructor, or high-level player
  • Certification from a recognized organization (e.g., USA Pickleball, PPR, or IPTPA preferred)
  • Strong teaching and communication skills
