Bay Harbor Yacht Club in Michigan seeks a Pickleball Pro to lead coaching and program development for its members. The role covers lessons, clinics, and events, with a focus on skill progression and participant enjoyment. You will help run tournaments, manage facilities, and promote the sport within our private club community.

The position offers both full-time and part-time hours and opportunities for growth in a premier northern Michigan setting.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience teaching pickleball.
• Current certification or formal training from recognized pickleball organizations.
• Experience coaching across beginner to advanced levels and running clinics.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement pickleball programs for members of all ages.
• Conduct group lessons, clinics, and workshops to improve skills.
• Provide individualized coaching sessions tailored to members’ goals.
• Organize tournaments, leagues, and social pickleball events.
• Maintain courts and equipment and ensure a safe playing environment.
• Stay current with pickleball trends, rules, and techniques.
• Foster a welcoming, inclusive atmosphere and recruit new members.
