Job summary

Accurate Personnel is hiring a Picker/Packer in Southaven, MS. The role involves loading/unloading items, locating products on warehouse shelves, and preparing shipments for dispatch. Prior warehouse experience is a plus, and you must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Starting pay is up to $15 per hour with weekly pay and a benefits package including medical, dental, and vision coverage. Position is located in Southaven, MS and may require standing and walking long hours with possible

Qualifications

• Must be able to stand and walk long distances, bend, twist, and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Warehouse experience is a plus
• Experience using an RF scanner for inventory counts

Responsibilities

• Locate and retrieve items from warehouse shelves based on pick sheets or RF scans.
• Select correct container size, verify item against order, and securely pack with padding.
• Assist with cycle counts, restock shelves, and remove defective items.
• Label boxes and route shipments to docks or conveyors

HIRING IMMEDIATELY: PICKER/PACKER IN SOUTHAVEN, MS

Accurate Personnel is hiring a Picker/Packer to help our client in Southaven, MS. This individual is responsible for loading and unloading items from warehouse shelves This individual will have previous warehouse experience and have the ability to work in a fast paced environment.

Pay, Schedule, and Location

• Starting at up to $15/hour, paid weekly
• Excellent benefits package: Medical, Dental, and Vision
• Located in Southaven, MS

Duties and Responsibilities

• Locating and retrieving items from warehouse shelves based on manual, paper-based pick sheets or handheld electronic RF scanners
• Selecting the correct container size, verifying item accuracy against the order sheet, and securely packing products into boxes with appropriate padding/cushioning materials to prevent damage during shipping
• Assisting with cycle counts to check inventory levels, restocking shelves, and removing defective items.
• Labeling boxes, using box cutters/tape dispensers, and routing finalized shipments onto conveyor belts or to loading docks

Requirements and Qualifications

• Expect to spend your entire shift standing, walking extensive distances through the warehouse, bending, twisting, and lifting packages (frequently up to 50 lbs)
• Ability to in a fast paced environment
• Previous warehouse experience is a plus
• Experience using an RF scanner to count for inventory accuracy
