HIRING IMMEDIATELY: PICKER/PACKER IN SHEPHERDSVILLE, KY

Accurate Personnel is hiring a Picker/Packer to help our client in Shepherdsville, KY. This individual is responsible for loading and unloading items from warehouse shelves This individual will have previous warehouse experience and have the ability to work in a fast paced environment.

Pay, Schedule, and Location

• Starting at up to $18.50/hour, paid weekly
• Excellent benefits package: Medical, Dental, and Vision
• All Shifts Available
• Located in Shepherdsville, KY

Duties and Responsibilities

• Locating and retrieving items from warehouse shelves based on manual, paper-based pick sheets or handheld electronic RF scanners
• Selecting the correct container size, verifying item accuracy against the order sheet, and securely packing products into boxes with appropriate padding/cushioning materials to prevent damage during shipping
• Assisting with cycle counts to check inventory levels, restocking shelves, and removing defective items.
• Labeling boxes, using box cutters/tape dispensers, and routing finalized shipments onto conveyor belts or to loading docks

Requirements and Qualifications

• Expect to spend your entire shift standing, walking extensive distances through the warehouse, bending, twisting, and lifting packages (frequently up to 50 lbs)
• Ability to in a fast paced environment
• Previous warehouse experience is a plus
• Experience using a RF scanner to count for inventory accuracy
