Position: Machine Operator V (Reach Truck Operator)

Shift: 2nd shift, 2:30pm-11:45pm, Mon-Fri

Department: Varies

Reports To: Assistant Department Manager or Department Manager

Position Overview

A Machine Operator V is responsible for moving and storing materials within the distribution center using Reach Truck or Counterbalance Forklift.

Supervisory Responsibilities

This position does not have supervisory responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload materials using the forklift, handling pallets, crates, and containers.
• Transport materials safely within the warehouse, maneuvering through narrow aisles and around obstacles.
• Follow safety protocols, wear PPE, and conduct equipment inspections.
• Report unsafe conditions, damaged products, or procedural issues.
• Collaborate with team to maintain inventory and fulfill orders accurately and timely.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Assist with order picking, packing, inventory counts, and shipment preparation as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• High school diploma or equivalent.

Physical Requirements

• Standing, walking, bending, squatting most of the time.
• Repetitive pushing and pulling.
• Carrying up to 25 lbs frequently.
• Lifting up to 50 lbs unassisted.
• Seldom sitting or crawling.
