Job summary

Biogensys is hiring a Picking Clerk/Warehouse in Kalamazoo, MI for a second shift. You will locate and pick merchandise using documents, then stage, check, package, and consolidate items in both bulk and stockless areas. You’ll assist with stockless transfers and support fast-paced warehouse operations.

The role requires a high school diploma, basic math skills, physical endurance, and reliability, with a pre-employment background check and drug screen expected. Overtime may be required.

We are hiring a Picking Clerk/Warehouse for one of our clients in Kalamazoo, MI.

Job Description:

• In addition to locating and picking merchandise from picking documents, also responsible for properly staging, checking, packaging, and consolidating merchandise in both the bulk and stockless departments.
• Assists in the stockless transfer process.

Skills Required

• Historically has displayed and maintains excellent attendance.
• Must have basic math skills. Must be able to perform all physical motions typical of an order picker including bending, reaching, stretching, walking, pushing carts, stand or walk for long periods for entire shift often over 8hrs/shift, and lifting. (or more) push/pull carts weighing 100 lbs. or more repeatedly throughout the shift. With or without reasonable accommodation.
• Ability to handle stress in a fast-paced ever-changing environment while maintaining a positive attitude. Must be willing to work overtime as needed.
• Successfully pass a pre-employment (post offer) background check and drug screening.

Experience Required

• Previous warehouse or distribution center experience preferred.
• Forklift experience preferred.

Education Required

• High School Diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Second Shift
• Shift Days/Time: SMTWTFS/10:00 AM - 2:59 PM
• Estimated Regular Hours/Week: 40.00
• Hour Distribution: Standard - Weekly OT
