Job summary

Biogensys in Grapevine, TX is seeking a Picking Clerk/Warehouse to locate and pick merchandise from picking documents, then stage, check, package and consolidate items in both bulk and stockless areas.

You will assist in the stockless transfer process and support a fast-paced warehouse environment. Strong attendance, basic math, physical stamina, and overtime flexibility are required.

Qualifications

• Excellent attendance as a baseline.
• Basic math skills required for counts and verification.
• Physical motions typical of order picking including bending, reaching, walking and lifting.
• Ability to handle stress in a fast-paced environment and work overtime as needed.
• Must pass pre-employment background check and drug screening.
• Forklift experience preferred but not mandatory.

We are hiring a Picking Clerk/Warehouse for one of our clients in Grapevine, TX.

Job Description

In addition to locating and picking merchandise from picking documents, also responsible for properly staging, checking, packaging, and consolidating merchandise in both the bulk and stockless departments. Assists in the stockless transfer process.

Skills Required

• Historically has displayed and maintains excellent attendance.
• Must have basic math skills.
• Must be able to perform all physical motions typical of an order picker including bending, reaching, stretching, walking, pushing carts, stand or walk for long periods for entire shift often over 8hrs/shift, and lifting as much as 60 lbs. (or more) push/pull carts weighing 100 lbs. or more repeatedly throughout the shift. With or without reasonable accommodation.
• Ability to handle stress in a fast-paced ever changing environment while maintaining a positive attitude. Must be willing to work overtime as needed.
• Successfully pass a pre-employment (post offer) background check and drug screening.
  
  

Experience Required

• Previous warehouse or distribution center experience preferred. Forklift experience preferred.
  
  

Education Required

• High School Diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience.

• First Shift
• Shift Days/Time: SMTWTFS/ 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
• Hour Distribution: Standard - Weekly OT
