Fastenal Co. in Madison, MS is seeking part-time picking staff at our distribution center. You will assist in moving product from the warehouse to branches by picking, packing, labeling with routing information, and relocating items by hand or with pallet jacks or forklifts.

Scheduling is MON–FRI, 12:30pm–6:30pm, up to 28 hours per week. This entry-level role emphasizes teamwork, safety and efficiency, with onboarding and performance goals.

Job Description

Picking 359 Old Jackson Rd, Madison, MS 39110 MS100 Distribution Center Part-time Shift(s): MON TUE WED THU FRI 12:30pm - 6:30pm Up to 28 hours/week

OVERVIEW

Find your future at Fastenal! Our distribution center is hiring energetic, team oriented individuals to work in our fast pace warehouse! Working as Part-time Picking, you will help facilitate the movement of product from our distribution center to company owned branches. When an order is placed by a branch you will pick the requested quantity, pack the order, and print a label with a routing number. Product is then moved to the next department by hand, palletjack, or forklift. This is an entry-level position based out of our distribution center located at 359 Old Jackson Rd, Madison, MS 39110. This position may offer a flexible schedule after a period of onboarding, training, and meeting performance goals.

• Lift, slide, carry and lower packages that typically weigh 25lbs-50lbs and may weigh up to 100lbs
• Pass the required drug screen (applicable in the US, Puerto Rico and Guam ONLY)

PREFERRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

• Prior experience operating a forklift
