Job summary

Fastenal Co. in Greensboro, NC is seeking part-time Picking personnel for our Beechwood Dr distribution center. You will pick orders, pack products, label with routing numbers, and move items to the next department by hand, pallet jack, or forklift.

Part-time Shift(s): MON TUE WED THU FRI 7:00am - 12:00pm

MON TUE WED THU FRI 12:00pm - 5:00pm

Up to 28 hours/week

OVERVIEW

Find your future at Fastenal! Our distribution center is hiring energetic, team oriented individuals to work in our fast pace warehouse! Working as Part-time Picking, you will help facilitate the movement of product from our distribution center to company owned branches. When an order is placed by a branch you will pick the requested quantity, pack the order, and print a label with a routing number. Product is then moved to the next department by hand, palletjack, or forklift. This is an entry-level position based out of our distribution center located at 4100 Beechwood Dr, Greensboro, NC 27410. This position may offer a flexible schedule after a period of onboarding, training, and meeting performance goals.

RESPONSIBILITIES

REQUIRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

• Lift, slide, carry and lower packages that typically weigh 25lbs-50lbs and may weigh up to 100lbs
• Pass the required drug screen (applicable in the US, Puerto Rico and Guam ONLY)

PREFERRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

• Prior experience operating a forklift
