Essential Responsibilities & Accountabilities

1. Receive coversheet and assigned cart for each order series, log onto the voice system, and begin voice-directed picking. Move the cart through product aisles, pick products, and pack small items appropriately.
2. Verify products during picking and packing processes.
3. Maintain daily production records as reviewed by the supervisor.
4. Return completed carts to staging and verify products for customer orders, checking off packing lists accordingly.
5. Select appropriate packaging to prevent damage, pack orders neatly, and follow proper packing procedures, including special handling for glass, liquids, and small items.
6. Report errors or quality issues and correct orders as needed before shipment.
7. Use conveyor systems to move packed orders for sealing and shipment, processing special orders as required.
8. Dispose of packaging materials properly to ensure a safe, clean work environment.
9. Participate in special projects and perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Specialized Knowledge and Skills

• Good reading, writing, math, and computer skills.

Experience

Basic warehousing knowledge preferred.

Other

High school diploma or equivalent preferred, or comparable work experience.

Physical Demands

• Lift/move products up to 10 lbs frequently, 11-20 lbs occasionally.
• Walk frequently on concrete floors.
• Handle tools and perform gripping, pushing, pulling, and fine manipulation continuously.
• Twist or bend torso frequently; climb ladders occasionally.

Conditions

• Work in a temperature-controlled environment; occasional exposure to dust and cold conditions.
