Job Summary

The Picker/Packer is responsible for packaging completed assemblies, verifying picklists, obtaining all necessary documents, and shipping completed orders in the most efficient manner possible.

Reporting Structure

The Picker/Packer reports directly to the Shipping Group Leader and is responsible for achieving the goals and objectives set for this role.

Job Responsibilities

1. Prioritize and organize Pick List based on customer commitment levels.
2. Use RF scanners accurately to pick correct items and quantities as per the Pick List.
3. Verify picked items and package them in appropriate shipping containers.
4. Follow all special instructions on the Pick List.
5. Operate shipping computer systems.
6. Assist in warehouse functions such as cycle counts and product placement.
7. Monitor shipping supplies and notify the supervisor when reordering is necessary.
8. Perform clerical tasks such as data entry and filing.
9. Operate material handling equipment safely.
10. Maintain a clean and organized work area.
11. Handle administrative tasks such as printing orders, creating labels, and tracking shipments.
12. Coordinate transportation arrangements with carriers.

Requirements

1. High School diploma or equivalent.
2. Proficiency in speaking, reading, and writing English.
3. Shipping experience is preferred but not required.
4. Ability to use computers and electronic interface equipment (e.g., scan guns, printers).
5. Average manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
6. Ability to lift up to 44 lbs (20 kg).
7. Experience operating material handling equipment.

The base pay for this position is $21.25 per hour, with a target performance bonus of 5% of the annual base salary. Belimo is committed to fair, equitable, and transparent compensation practices.
