Job description

As a Picker/Packer at Walmart, you will play a critical role in the fulfillment process by accurately selecting and packing merchandise for shipping to customers or Walmart stores. Working in a fast-paced environment, you will use handheld devices and picking equipment to locate, retrieve, and package items according to customer orders or store requirements. **Key Responsibilities:**

1. **Order Picking:**

- Use handheld devices or picking lists to locate and select merchandise from designated storage locations within the warehouse.

- Navigate through aisles and storage racks to retrieve items efficiently, ensuring accuracy and completeness of each order.

- Verify product details, quantities, and quality before packing to ensure customer satisfaction.

2. **Product Packaging:**

- Pack merchandise securely and appropriately for shipping, using packaging materials such as boxes, bubble wrap, and packing peanuts.

- Label packages with shipping information, barcodes, and tracking numbers.

- Ensure that packages are sealed properly to prevent damage during transit.
