Job summary

Smart Staffing operates a Bolingbrook, IL automotive parts warehouse and is seeking a Picker/Packer to join the team. You will accurately receive, store, pick, and pack car parts from small to large items up to 70 pounds, including engines and body parts.

The role requires 2–3 years of warehouse experience, basic to intermediate computer skills, and strong communication abilities. Schedule is first shift, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM, on site.

Job Title: Picker Packer – Automotive Parts Warehouse Location: Bolingbrook, IL Smart Staffing is seeking an experienced warehouse professional to support its automotive parts distribution operation. This role focuses on accurately receiving, storing, picking, and packing car parts ranging from small components to large items up to 70 pounds, including engines and body parts.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive incoming parts, verifying part number, description, and quantity.
• Pick parts from designated locations to fill customer orders; perform physical counts to confirm accuracy.
• Professionally pack parts to prevent freight damage during shipment.
• Process returns, bin material, and complete basic discrepancy documentation.
• Participate in warehouse projects such as stock rearrangement, cycle counts, scrap handling, re-packaging, and auditing; maintain productivity standards and a clean, safe work area.
