Job summary

Boar is seeking a Picker II to support multiple departments by following supervisor directions and prioritizing accuracy in order fulfillment. You will pull items from correct locations, stage them for delivery, and operate handling equipment while adhering to safety standards.

The role emphasizes teamwork, adherence to GMPs and SOPs, and accurate communication with teammates and supervisors. A High School Diploma or GED is required, with duties expanded as needed by the department.

Responsibilities

• Manages pick ticket orders by pulling warehouse items from correct locations based on number, item number, quantity, and quality requirements.
• Ensures that orders are accurate and stages items correctly for delivery.
• Operates handling equipment and follows safety regulations.
• Works as a team player to meet product specifications safely and efficiently.
• Assists other departments as assigned by Supervisor/Lead/Manager.
• Follows GMPs, SOPs, rules and policies and can follow written and oral instructions.
• Strives to satisfy internal and external customers and keeps the work area clean.
• Other duties may be assigned.

A Picker II assists in departments by performing a variety of duties as assigned by the Supervisor, Lead Person and/or Manager.

Essential Functions

• Manages pick ticket orders. Pulls warehouse items from correct locations based on number, Item Number, quantity, and quality requirements. Ensures that orders are accurate. Stages items correctly for delivery.
• Picking quota is 160 cases per hour. Accuracy and efficiency will be monitored daily/weekly.
• Operates handling equipment and ensures safety regulations are followed.
• Responsible for performing tasks as described and assigned by the Department Supervisor/Lead.
• Must keep pace with work area and team.
• Must work as a team player, ensuring product specifications are attained in a safe and efficient manner and communicate well with other team members.
• Assist other departments as assigned by Supervisor/Lead/Manager.
• Must follow company’s GMP’s, SOP’s, Rules and Policies.
• Must be able to follow written and oral instructions.
• Strives to satisfy the requirements of internal and external customers.
• Responsible for keeping work area clean.
• Other duties may be assigned.
