Job summary

Peter Millar is seeking a warehouse associate to support receiving, stocking, picking, and packing operations in the distribution center. The role runs Monday through Friday from 3:30pm to 12:00am and requires basic computer use and attention to detail.

You will lift, move, and box apparel, coordinate with other departments, and ensure accurate inventory records. Ideal candidates will have prior warehouse experience, strong teamwork, and the ability to perform repetitive lifting.

Qualifications

• Experience in a warehouse environment is desirable.
• Computer skills and basic Excel proficiency are preferred.
• Ability to lift 20–40 pounds and stand/walk for long periods.
• Willingness to work a 3:30pm–12:00am shift and collaborate with multiple teams.

Responsibilities

• Pick orders in a prioritized sequence and prepare for shipping.
• Follow stocking procedures to place products in exact locations.
• Organize and box apparel in the distribution center per SOPs.
• Communicate with other departments to resolve questions.
• Load/unload trucks, wrap and label products for shipment.
• Use inventory software and Excel to update records.
• Maintain safety standards and complete required paperwork.
• Restock picking modules and replenish stock as needed.
• Support other DC areas as required.

SUMMARY:

Assists in all areas of the distribution center, to include receiving, recording, stocking, transporting, replenishing, picking, packing and shipping of goods and supplies. This role is from Monday-Friday 3:30pm-12:00am.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Picking orders on a prioritized basis.
• Follow stocking information to place product in exact locations.
• Follow instructions as provided by supervisor to organize apparel products in boxes in the Distribution Center.
• Frequently communicate with other departments regarding questions.
• Lifts boxes, moves boxes, tears down boxes and sometimes makes boxes – to ensure that Peter Millar can fulfill orders and deliver products to customers. May operate baler machine to organize empty boxes.
• Load and unload trucks, performs order picking, wraps products, packs, labels products to be shipped and received products.
• Use a PC to access and maintain all warehouse inventory and records within inventory program and Excel.
• Ensure meeting all safety and storage regularities for housing of the goods and supplies.
• Operate within standard operating procedures (SOPs) and Job Safety Analysis (JSAs).
• Complete all necessary documentation and legal formalities relating to the goods.
• Use cart to move items from one location to another.
• Process returns if necessary.
• Restock and replenish product in picking module.
• Work in other areas of the Distribution Center as needed.

COMPETENCIES:

• Ability to be tenacious in locating product in the distribution center
• Must be organized
• Must have strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to perform basic math, and computation tasks
• Must be reliable, have good time-management skills and have ability to work at a steady pace
• Strong problem solving skills required; ability to research and recall dataWalks, stands, bends and stoops for 8-10 hours during shift to locate items from orders, organize product and fulfill orders
• Repetitious regular lifting of 20-35 pounds; moving of boxes, to access product, up to 40 pounds
• Occasional small step stool/ladder usage; obtaining product located on upper shelves

DESIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• Previous warehouse experience desirable
• Experience working with a computer required; Excel skills preferred.
