Position Overview: Pick-up and Delivery Drivers

Job Responsibilities

1. Perform safe and legal operation of commercial motor vehicles.
2. Load and unload trailers and move freight across the terminal dock, with or without mechanical handling equipment.
3. Record shipment details using bills of lading, delivery receipts, and tally sheets.
4. Maintain compliance records as per state and federal regulations.
5. Develop and maintain professional relations with customers.
6. Hook and unhook trailers, including operating landing gear cranks.
7. Inspect equipment for defects and safety compliance.
8. Fuel trucks and tractors.
9. Perform other duties as assigned.
