Job summary

W. Lee Flowers is seeking a Pick & Prep Associate to prepare products and engage guests with sampling and storytelling about Fresh, Healthy, Seasonal and Local offerings. You will maintain standards and safety in the department while delivering friendly, energetic service.

Responsibilities include customer engagement, knife showmanship demonstrations, merchandising the Pick & Prep area, and ensuring product quality in accordance with Lowes Foods standards. Must be 18+ and able to lift 25 lbs.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift 25 lbs. consistently and 50 lbs. occasionally.
• Ability to read and understand information and direction.
• Knowledge of Pick & Prep operations.

• Demonstrate effective communication, guest service and selling skills.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to bend, kneel and stand for extended periods of time.
• Ability to effectively communicate with, and take direction from supervision.
• Ability to work well with computers and scales.
