Job summary

Newrest Group seeks a Pick & Pack Lead to ensure products are correctly filled into trolleys and processes align with airline client requirements. The Lead answers team questions and supervises others while supporting the manager’s direction in a multicultural team.

Responsibilities include leading by example, enforcing procedures, rotating stock, and maintaining safety and quality standards across the Pick & Pack area.

SUMMARY:

The Pick& Pack Lead will ensure that food trolleys are properly filled, andprocesses are followed based on our airline client needs. The Lead willwork alongside the other team members. The Lead will be the individualwho answers team members' frequent questions and supervises the work ofothers. The Lead is a servant leader who will be able to ensure that themanager's and supervisor's direction is followed while working alongside theteam.

ESSENTIALFUNCTIONS

• Lead by example in all responsibilities of Pick & Pack.
• Ensure that all policies and processes are followedin the Pick & Pack area.
• Rotate products as appropriate; provide designateditems to appropriate departments.
• Complete all necessary records and reports in atimely and accurate fashion.
• Conduct inbound processes of new merchandise inaccordance with guidelines and following all prescribed procedures, ability tounderstand specificities for each airline.
• Physical and administrative handling of merchandise.
• Take appropriate action to label, store, sort, anddispose of merchandise as instructed.
• Inform Team Lead, Supervisor, or Manager of dailyactivity and/or any issues/concerns.
• Assist in maintaining Security and Health and Safetyrequirements.
• Ensure adherence to procedural and policyrequirements.
• Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work area.
• This position requires the ability tocommunicate effectively in a diverse multicultural environment.
• Perform other duties as required or assigned bysupervisor or management.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable requirementsrelated to product and service quality, environmental standards, food safety,and health and safety regulations.
• Promote a safe and healthy work environment bypreventing work-related injuries and illnesses, eliminating hazards, andreducing health and safety risks.
• Compliance with Hazard Analysis Critical ControlPoints (HACCP)/General manufacturing practices (GMP) guidelines for personalhygiene and observe security precautions as mandated by unit management.
