Cheeze Kurls in Grand Rapids, MI is seeking a Pack Lead Assistant to support the Pack Lead in daily production operations, line setup, and quality standards.

This role acts as the primary backup, trains new employees, and helps ensure GMP compliance and safe, efficient changeovers while maintaining production targets.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Pack Lead by assigning daily positions to production employees.
• Coordinate and cover production breaks as needed.
• Print and manage all case and pallet labels.
• Verify product codes and ensure correct label codes on cases.
• Assist with LOTO procedures during cleans and help lead cleaning activities.
• Notify the warehouse of materials needed.
• Track and manage waste for the shift.
• Set up production lines with proper equipment.
• Train and develop new employees through established processes.
• Participate in daily sensory audits with the production team.
• Review production schedules and prepare for changeovers.
• Ensure production lines run at optimal speeds.
• Collaborate with the Quality team to meet customer expectations.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisors or management.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the Pack Lead with assigning daily positions to production employees
