Experience & Qualifications

• Developer with strong in PICK Basic and experience with UniVerse or similar MultiValue environment, preferably with UniVerse database.
• Work directly with end users to maintain and support an in-house UniVerse database application.
• Tech‑savvy individual with strong desire to learn and ability to become the SME of this application system.
• Self‑motivated, able to work with minimum supervision and get up to speed quickly.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and detail‑oriented skills.
• 5+ years programming experience in UniVerse or similar MultiValue environment.
• Unix (AIX) shell scripting and universe system administration skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work with end users to troubleshoot, resolve issues, define user requirements and analyze workflows.
• Code, test and implement programs of new and existing programs.
• Document and maintain program procedures, system updates and maintenance.
