Job summary

VTP Holdings, LLC is seeking a Vascular Access Nurse Consultant to collaborate with our customers’ clinical teams to resolve venous access issues and support physician treatment goals. You may work inside or outside the hospital, observing different protocols and patient challenges.

This sporadic per diem role requires travel to patient sites, with a minimum of 4 shifts per month (weekends included) and holiday rotation.

Qualifications

• Registered nurse with current license and BLS certification.
• Experience with vascular access devices and IV placement using ultrasound guidance.
• Ability to travel to patient sites and work independently.

Responsibilities

• Place PICCs, midlines, and peripheral IVs using ultrasound guidance.
• Use ECG for PICC tip confirmation.
• Manage PICCs and vascular access devices post-placement.
• Provide wide range of vascular access services including port access and line removal.
• Educate facility staff on PICCs, midlines, and CVADs.
