Job Duties

This supervisory role involves overseeing front office operations, working front desk shifts, and training and guiding the front desk team to ensure adherence to company and Marriott policies while maintaining guest satisfaction. The supervisor reports directly to the Assistant General Manager.

  • Coordinate with previous shift and management updates
  • Provide efficient check-in/check-out services
  • Know hotel property and events
  • Inform guests about policies and amenities
  • Assist in achieving monthly brand standards for customer service, training, and recognition
  • Schedule staff within budget and manage overtime
  • Supervise daily shift processes and ensure SOP compliance
  • Ensure staff appearance and dress code adherence
  • Train, motivate, and resolve issues within the team
  • Lead by example and inspire the team
  • Oversee front desk operations across all shifts, including night audit proficiency
  • Maintain brand quality standards daily
  • Ensure hotel security for guests, staff, and assets
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management
Job Requirements
  • At least 1 year of hotel experience
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently
  • Strong work ethic and desire to succeed
  • Clean background check and reliable transportation
  • Basic accounting and math skills, computer proficiency, excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Availability to work any shift between 7:00 am and 12:00 am, including weekends
