Piazza Produce, a FreshEdge LLC company, is hiring Non CDL Regional Home Daily Box Truck Reefer Drivers in Columbus, OH. We operate a broad distribution network delivering to over 150 cities in IN, OH, KY, IL, TN and MI, with refrigerated loads and GPS-tracked trucks.

Earn about $51,500+ per year with base pay $18.00–$19.50 per hour, overtime after 40 hours and multiple weekly bonus programs. Home daily, Mon-Sat shifts, and paid benefits after 90 days.

Responsibilities

Piazza Produce, A FreshEdge LLC company, is hiring Non CDL Regional Home Daily Box Truck Reefer Drivers in Columbus, OH. Piazza Produce offers a wide array of produce, locally sourced goods, specialty items, and more. Piazza Produce delivers to over 150 surrounding cities including those in Indiana, Ohio, Kentucky, Illinois, Tennessee, and Michigan. This allows us a large distribution network in which we are able to backhaul and deliver products from producers who need help distributing their products. Our fleet has grown to include trucks equipped with refrigeration and GPS tracking devices, making us a great option for dry or perishable loads.

Compensation:

• Average annual earnings: $51,500+
  • Base Rate: $18.00 - $19.50/hour with overtime pay after 40 hours/week worked
  • 50+ average hours per week
• Additional Pay Incentives:
  • Limited Time Driver Bonus: Until September 30th, 2026, P&P Transportation is offering a $3,000 Net Bonus to new drivers who remain actively employed and in good standing by P&P Transportation for 90 days
  • Net Bonus: $1,000 paid after 30 days, 60 days, 90 days)
  • Loyalty Bonus: Bonus added each week if the employee meets specific standards during their entire regular work week (Sunday - Friday: $20 per day, Saturday: $50 per day)
  • Driver Referral Program: You will receive a net referral fee of $250 after the referral completes 30 days of employment. $750 after 60 days, $1,500 after 90 days
  • Safety Bonus: Eligible after 90 days
  • Paid annually 1% of total wages for safe drivers
  • Paid via direct deposit weekly

Home Time, Schedule & Route:

• Home Time: Home daily
• Schedule: Monday - Saturday (5-6 days per week)
  • Work every Saturday and off one day during the week
• Shift: Typically, 8-12 hour shifts with start time at 5:00am (until work is done)
• Route: Deliver to over 150 cities around IN, OH & KY
  • Routes can be 15-25 stops per day
  • Deliver 300+ cases per day (up/downstairs at some locations)
• Level of Touch: Touch Freight, load & unload
  • Must be able to lift, push, pull 50lbs with no assistance
  • Be able to use pallet Jacks, 2-wheel dolly & phone scanner

Equipment:

• Non-CDL Box Truck Full-Service Lease
• All trucks are automatic

Qualifications:

• Must be at least 21 years of age
• No Endorsement Required
  • Drivers with a CDL A, B or C license are still encouraged to express interest - our team has opportunities for you that we would love to discuss you!
• 1 year of commercial driving experience is preferred but not required
• 0 DUI/DWI are allowed
• Must have no more than 2 moving violations in the past 3 years and proven safe PSP Score
• Must have no more than 3 preventable accidents in the past 3 years
• Must meet Department of Transportation (DOT) testing and physical requirements and be knowledgeable of DOT regulations
• Must be able to pass a required pre-employment drug screen
• Must be able to work in all types of environments and under difficult conditions: hot, cold, dust, indoors and outdoors
• Drivers must live within a 40-mile radius of Cincinnati, OH, or be willing to relocate for a position
