Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a qualifying field from a regionally accredited institution or Master’s degree with 18 graduate semester hours in related fields.
• Three years teaching experience preferred.
• Experience with hybrid, online, or interactive delivery modes recommended.

Responsibilities

• Plan and teach classes as assigned and as outlined in course descriptions and syllabi.
• Begin and end classes as scheduled and cover relevant learning outcomes.
• Maintain academic standards and classroom behavior; communicate with students weekly and answer emails promptly.
• Evaluate students using varied methods and inform students of scores in a timely manner.
• Use Cleveland State email for administrative purposes and respond to student questions accordingly.
• Meet deadlines for administrative tasks and required paperwork.
• Submit requests for equipment, supplies, textbooks, and instructional aids through the department chair or lead teacher.
