Lincoln Public Schools' Lefler Middle School is seeking a piano accompanist for secondary vocal music classes for the 26-27 school year. The role requires keyboard proficiency and the ability to read scores, rehearse warm-ups, and prepare digital rehearsal music.

Auditions are required. The position is 4.5 hours per day with potential extra hours for rehearsals before/after school. This is a non-contractual 180-day assignment paid at $24.23 per hour.

Qualifications

• Keyboard proficiency expected.
• Ability to read open score and play rehearsal warm-ups and parts.
• Prepare rehearsal music in digital format.
• Professional and collaborative; able to work with middle/high school students.
• Audition is required.

Responsibilities

• Accompany secondary vocal music classes.
• Prepare rehearsal music in digital format for rehearsals.
• Assist with before/after school rehearsals when needed.
