Job summary

ManpowerGroup seeks a PI Vision Migration Engineer to drive a multi-site migration of PI ProcessBook to PI Vision. You will collaborate with process engineers, operations and site leadership to gather requirements, standardize displays and ensure reliable dashboards for monitoring and KPI tracking.

The role focuses on delivering migration standards, best practices and visualization consistency across sites, enhancing dashboard usability and operational effectiveness within a manufacturing

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship is required.
• Experience with AVEVA/OSIsoft PI System technologies.
• Experience developing or supporting PI ProcessBook and/or PI Vision displays.
• Understanding of historians, KPIs, trends and data visualization.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead migration of legacy PI ProcessBook displays to PI Vision across multiple sites.
• Convert, validate, standardize and optimize PI Vision dashboards while preserving monitoring.
• Collaborate with process engineers, operations, site leadership and SMEs to gather requirements.
• Standardize display formats, naming conventions, navigation and visualization practices.
• Document migration activities, troubleshoot issues, and communicate project status.

Our client is seeking a PI Vision Migration Engineer to join their team. As a PI Vision Migration Engineer, you will be part of the manufacturing and process data team supporting operations, process engineering, and site leadership teams across multiple manufacturing sites. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, problem-solving abilities, and excellent communication skills which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: PI Vision Migration Engineer

Location: Chickasaw, AL (Onsite)

Pay Range: $40/hr

Work Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM or 7:00 AM-4:00 PM

What’s the Job?

• Lead the migration of legacy PI ProcessBook displays to PI Vision across multiple manufacturing sites.
• Convert, validate, standardize, and optimize PI Vision dashboards while maintaining business-critical monitoring and reporting capabilities.
• Collaborate with process engineers, operations personnel, site leadership, and subject matter experts to gather requirements and validate displays.
• Standardize display formats, naming conventions, navigation, and visualization practices across sites.
• Document migration activities, troubleshoot PI Vision issues, support user acceptance testing, and communicate project status to stakeholders.
