Job summary

Actalent, a leading engineering services firm, seeks a System Administrator to manage the OSIsoft PI data historian and Asset Framework in an operational power generation setting in Birmingham, AL. You will ensure data quality, integrate data from SCADA and Excel, and develop tools and reports for analytics.

This contract role requires at least 2 years of PI/AF experience, strong collaboration with ROC, IT, and site personnel, and the ability to prioritize multiple projects while maintaining

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience with OSIsoft PI and Asset Framework (AF).
• Hands-on PI historian administration in an operational environment.
• Proficiency with data management and data extraction from multiple sources.

Responsibilities

• Administer OSIsoft PI data historian and AF in an operational environment.
• Be the primary PI admin contact for tasks and issues.
• Integrate data from SCADA, Excel, and other data platforms.
• Develop PI-based reports, notifications, and calculated points.
• Troubleshoot historian, network, and communication components.
• Support onboarding of new sites and data into PI system.
• Collaborate with ROC, M&D, IT, vendors, and stakeholders.
• Maintain high data quality across historical and analytics systems.
