Job Opportunity: Physics Expert for AI Feedback

Outlier is the world’s leading expert platform, connecting over 100,000 contributors globally to improve AI models through expert human feedback. We collaborate with companies like OpenAI, Meta, and Microsoft to enhance generative AI capabilities.

We are seeking advanced Physics experts to teach AI how to interpret and solve complex problems by:

1. Evaluating AI-generated content for factual accuracy and relevance in Physics.
2. Developing and answering Physics-related questions to refine AI understanding.
3. Assessing and ranking AI responses based on scientific rigor.

Required Expertise and Qualifications

• Master’s degree or higher (PhD preferred) in Physics or a related field (candidates can be currently enrolled).
• Research experience, including peer-reviewed publications, patents, conference presentations, research grants, or industry R&D contributions, is highly valued.
• Proficiency in English reading and writing with minimal errors.
• AI model training experience is a plus but not required.

Payment

Core project work pays between $30 and $50 per hour USD, depending on geographic location. Higher-paying research projects may be available based on performance. Rates vary based on expertise, skills, location, project needs, and other factors. Additional incentives may be offered for certain projects.
