• Ability to collaborate with colleagues, administrators, and families.
• Commitment to equity, differentiation, and meeting the needs of diverse learners.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging, rigorous physics instruction aligned to the NJSLS.
• Utilize a variety of instructional strategies, including laboratory investigations and real-world applications.
• Differentiate instruction to support diverse learners, including students with IEPs and English Language Learners.
• Assess student learning using formative and summative assessments and use data to guide instruction.
• Maintain a positive, safe, and inclusive classroom environment.
• Collaborate with the science department on curriculum development and vertical alignment.
• Participate in professional development, faculty meetings, and school-based initiatives.
• Communicate regularly with students, families, and staff regarding student progress.
