Qualifications

• Master's degree in Physics or 18 graduate hours in Physics.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Professional.
• Experience with Canvas LMS and instructional technologies.
• Ability to engage with diverse populations and work evenings/weekends.

Responsibilities

• Instruct college students according to educational theories and techniques.
• Develop discipline-related curricula.
• Assess student learning.
• Participate in program evaluation and college activities.
• Maintain college and department standards supporting the College's mission and strategic plan.
• Develop, maintain, interpret, and execute administrative procedures and practices.
• Develop and maintain manuals regarding College policies, procedures, rules, and standards.
• Analyze class and program needs and recommend course retention or deletion.
• Develop and coordinate program and course schedules, faculty assignments, and test dates.
• Maintain and adjust calendars tracking schedules.
• Assist students with program curriculum, program and course reviews, and articulation activities.
