Job summary

IRONWOOD PHYSICIANS,P.C. in Goodyear, AZ, seeks a Medical Physicist to ensure safe, accurate radiation therapy delivery and robust QA.

You will collaborate with oncologists, clinicians, and staff to develop and optimize treatment plans, while leading safety and regulatory compliance efforts at Ironwood Cancer & Research Centers. You will monitor new technologies, train staff, and travel to other Ironwood locations as needed, contributing to superior patient outcomes and continued clinical

Qualifications

• Master’s or Ph.D. in Medical Physics, Physics, or related field.
• Board certification or board-eligible (e.g., ABR or equivalent).
• Strong knowledge of radiation therapy, dosimetry, and QA processes.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safe and accurate delivery of radiation therapy treatments.

In this role, you’ll partner with physicians, clinicians, and technical staff to ensure the highest standards in radiation therapy, imaging, and patient safety.

What You’ll Do:

• Ensure the safe and accurate delivery of radiation therapy treatments
• Perform equipment calibration, quality assurance (QA), and compliance checks
• Collaborate with oncologists and care teams to develop and optimize treatment plans

What We Required Qualifications:

Preferred:
