Job summary

Humana Inc. Conviva Senior Primary Care seeks a Physician to deliver outpatient medicine, focusing on continuity of care, health maintenance, and disease prevention. You will keep medical histories, refer to specialists, and help shape department strategy.

This patient-facing role is part of Humana’s TB screening program; TB screening is required. The ideal candidate holds an MD or DO, state licensure, and board certification in Family/Internal/Geriatric Medicine.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of technical experience.
• Licensure requirements of the state of jurisdiction.
• Graduate of accredited MD or DO program of accredited university.
• Prefer Internal Medicine specialty Board Certification in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine or Geriatric Medicine.

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient medicine with focus on continuity of care and disease prevention.
• Maintain medical histories and refer patients to specialists as needed.
• Contribute to departmental strategy and decision-making.
• Engage in Humana's TB screening program as a patient-facing clinician.

Become a part of our caring community The Physician serves as a health-care professional and capable of handling a variety of health-related problems. The Physician work assignments involve moderately complex to complex issues where the analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors. The Physician focuses on outpatient medicine, continuity of care, health maintenance, and disease prevention. Keeps a medical history and medical records. Refers the patient to specialists as needed. Begins to influence department's strategy. Makes decisions on moderately complex to complex issues regarding technical approach for project components, and work is performed without direction. Exercises considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches to assignments. Use your skills to make an impact. This role is considered patient facing and is part of Humana/Senior Bridge's Tuberculosis (TB) screening program. If selected for this role, you will be required to be screened for TB. Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences.

Required Qualifications

Pay Range

The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc. $310,000 - $368,500 per year
