Job summary

Trinity Health Medical Group, Neurology - Medical Pavilion in Michigan, seeks a Vascular Neurologist to join a small team handling inpatient and outpatient care with on-call stroke coverage. You’ll collaborate with a skilled group of physicians and APPs within a mission-driven system.

The role includes teaching opportunities for residents, medical students and fellows, with a structured call rotation and access to Epic/MyChart tooling for care coordination.

Qualifications

• Board-certified in their clinical specialty or must achieve board certification within the timeframe defined by the relevant board.
• Fellowship in Vascular Neurology completed or in process.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in inpatient and outpatient settings.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
• Participate in teaching and mentoring of residents, students, and fellows.
• Document patient encounters in the Epic EMR system.
• Engage in quality improvement initiatives within the neurology service line.
• Support community health initiatives and patient education.

• Schedule:On call stroke 1 week/month (possibility of more coverage), in clinic the other three weeks with a few post call days
• Location:Trinity Health Muskegon Pavillion for ambulatory clinic; TH Muskegon hospital for call

Requirements

• Open to new graduates
• Board certified in their respective clinical specialty or must achieve board certification within the timeframe defined by the applicable specialty board.
• Vascular Neurology Fellowship Required
• Active Michigan medical license (or ability to obtain)
• DEA license
