Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Advise physicians on appropriate levels of care and throughput.
• Engage hospital physicians for input on medical necessity and denials.
• Provide education to clinicians on regulatory requirements and utilization.
• Lead Utilization Management Committee meetings.
• Perform peer-to-peer discussions with payers and medical directors.
• Review length of stay and assist with case management discussions.
• Participate in daily multidisciplinary rounds.
