Responsibilities

Ascension Providence is looking to add a Urologist to our busy practice in Waco, Texas. Waco is known as the “Heart of Texas,” situated on the I-35 corridor between Dallas and Austin, offering shops, restaurants, parks, and top-ranked schools. Our Urology providers have full patient panels. The practice shares a building with Women’s Health/OBGYN, Outpatient Surgery Center, Sleep Clinic, ENT, and Lab.

Our compensation package includes: salary, relocation allowance, sign-on bonus, possible student loan repayment, generous PTO, health/dental/vision/wellness plans, CME allowance, and a 403(b) retirement plan with employer match.

Additional Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients with appropriate diagnostic and treatment skills.
• Participate in efforts to improve cost-effectiveness and quality of care.
• Manage patient referrals, hospital admissions, and consultations.
• Participate in academic programs as requested.
• Ensure documentation meets insurance requirements and handle denials.
• Participate in inpatient and outpatient consultations, including on-call schedules.
