Job summary

PeaceHealth seeks a per diem Trauma Surgeon to cover shifts at RiverBend Medical Center, a Level II trauma center in Springfield, Oregon. You will join a team of 8 surgeons and 5 APCs, with 12-hour shifts and in-house trauma surgical support.

The compensation includes an hourly wage of $299.20, malpractice and tail coverage, and travel and lodging reimbursement, reflecting PeaceHealth's commitment to clinician wellbeing and work‑life balance.

Qualifications

• Trauma surgeon with strong team coordination.
• Experience in blended trauma/general surgery and ICU settings.
• Ability to work 12-hour shifts with back-up support.

Responsibilities

• Provide trauma/general surgery and ICU coverage as needed.
• Support and participate in in-house trauma services.
