Description

Mercy trauma/acute care surgery is currently seeking full-time; board certified/board eligible Trauma Critical Care Surgeon to serve as Trauma Medical Director in Rogers, AR. Join a thriving health care system recognized both locally and nationally for providing exceptional care while remaining on the forefront of the rapidly changing medical field. We are honored to say that Mercy Hospital Northwest Arkansas was recently named the #1 hospital in Arkansas for 2024 by Newsweek. Group consists of 3 acute care surgeons, four general elective surgeons, APP's and an engaged support staff focused on quality care.

Mercy NWA General Surgery:

  • Growing level 3 certified trauma center with an average of 70,000 annual ER visits per year
  • Physicians with critical care fellowship training preferred
  • Continuity clinic for follow up and post op trauma/ACS patients
  • New hospital tower with ten OR suites plus 3 additional being completed
  • Outstanding referral base from three critical access hospitals in region and two free standing emergency rooms
  • System Wide EPIC EMR– DAX for clinical documentation
