Baptist Health Medical Group, part of Baptist Health South Florida, seeks a Thoracic Surgeon to join its Lynn Cancer Institute in Boca Raton. Join a large, faith-inspired system with a focus on cancer care, research, and multidisciplinary teams.

The role emphasizes minimally invasive and robotic approaches, with responsibilities in an outpatient clinic and affiliated hospital sites, plus opportunities for professional growth and CME.

Qualifications

• MD/DO from an accredited institution with license.
• Board Eligible/Board Certified in Thoracic Surgery.
• At least two years in an outpatient setting.
• EBUS, laparoscopic and open procedures; robotics preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive surgical care for thoracic malignancies including lung and esophageal cancer, and mediastinal tumors.
• Develop individualized surgical plans using minimally invasive and robotic techniques.
• Practice in outpatient clinic and Baptist Health Boca Raton Regional Hospital with BRRH.
• Participate in research initiatives and quality improvement projects.
• Collaborate in a multidisciplinary team focused on patient-centered care.

• Candidates will demonstrate experience in general thoracic surgery, provide comprehensive surgical care for thoracic malignancies including lung and esophageal cancer, and mediastinal tumors while developing individualized surgical treatment plans informed by the latest clinical guidelines using minimally invasive and robotics techniques

Qualifications

• At least two years in an outpatient setting required
