Job summary

Baptist Health is seeking a Thoracic Surgeon to join its Lynn Cancer Institute in Palm Beach, FL. The role emphasizes care for lung and esophageal cancers with minimally invasive and robotic techniques, in outpatient clinics and the BRRH setting.

Ideal candidates are Board Certified/Eligible in Thoracic Surgery, hold an MD/DO, possess an active license, and have at least two years of outpatient experience. EBUS, laparoscopic, and open procedures are required; robotics preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Board-certified or board-eligible in thoracic surgery.
• MD/DO degree from an accredited institution and active license.
• Minimum two years outpatient surgical experience.
• Experience with EBUS, laparoscopic and open thoracic procedures; robotics preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive surgical care for thoracic benign and malignant disease.
• Develop individualized treatment plans using minimally invasive and robotic techniques.
• Participate in outpatient clinic activities and multidisciplinary teams.
• Engage in research initiatives and quality-improvement projects.
