Overview
Bassett Healthcare Network, a progressive, academic health system in central New York and major teaching affiliate of Columbia University is seeking a full-time MD/DO for its Susquehanna Family Practice/Gender Wellness Center (QFP/GWC) (www.genderwellnesscenter.com). Visa Sponsorship Available.
Description
QFP/GWC has been offering high quality, evidence-based primary care in Oneonta since 1994. In 2007, we began embedding transgender and gender diverse (TGD) healthcare into our primary care practice. From 2016-2019, members of our interdisciplinary team received leadership training from the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation to create a rural-based center for TGD healthcare that provides gender affirming medical, mental health, surgical care, legal advocacy, training/education, and conducts community-based research.
