Physician / Surgery - Vascular / Georgia / Locum tenens

Vascular Surgery locum tenens opportunity in Georgia, requiring coverage for 1-4 weekends per month.

Details:

1. Locations: 25 miles outside of Atlanta, Georgia
2. Duration: December 2024 - December 2025
3. Reason for coverage: Affiliate vascular surgeon group no longer on call schedule
4. Schedule: 1-4 weekends per month; possible option for Monday-Friday coverage in 2025
5. Shift: 24-hour weekend call, from 7 AM to 7 AM (hotel accommodations provided)
6. Patient volume: 5-12 patients
7. Scope of work: Support inpatient and emergency call coverage on weekends for the Trauma Department, including rounding on hospital inpatient consults
8. EMR: EPIC
9. Hospital: 211-bed, Level 2 trauma center
10. Support group: Solo coverage with usual hospital support staff
