Job summary

Banner MD Anderson Cancer Center in Phoenix, AZ, is recruiting a Surgical Oncologist to lead our Melanoma & Sarcoma surgery program. The role includes growing the multidisciplinary Cutaneous Oncology & Sarcoma services across Arizona and Colorado, recruiting faculty, and building a robust clinical research program with MD Anderson.

The successful candidate will join a renowned team, participate in collaborations with top cancer centers, and have opportunities for adjunct faculty appointments

Qualifications

• Board-certified or board-eligible in complex general surgical oncology.
• Experience in melanoma and soft tissue sarcoma.
• Strong interest in clinical research and multidisciplinary care.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Cutaneous Oncology & Sarcoma surgical programs across Banner MD Anderson Cancer Center locations in AZ and CO.
• Drive growth of the multidisciplinary program and recruit/retain faculty.

The Division of Surgery is actively recruiting a Surgical Oncologist to lead our Melanoma & Sarcoma surgery program at Banner MD Anderson Cancer Center in Phoenix, AZ. This is a unique opportunity to join a strong team of national leaders in multidisciplinary cancer care, education, and discovery.

This individual will lead our Cutaneous Oncology & Sarcoma surgical programs across all Banner MD Anderson Cancer Center locations in Arizona and Colorado. Responsibilities include growth of the multidisciplinary program, recruitment and retention of faculty, and implementation of a robust clinical research program in collaboration with MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, Texas. The successful hire will join the faculty at the University of Arizona College of Medicine Phoenix have the opportunity for an adjunct faculty appointment from the University of Texas-MD Anderson Cancer Center.
