Banner MD Anderson Cancer Center in Phoenix is actively recruiting an Hematologist/Oncologist to join our inpatient team as an Onco-Hospitalist at Banner University Medical Center - Phoenix. The physician will be present during business hours, round with patients, and respond to consults as required.

Outpatient duties are not required. The role offers a 7 on / 7 off schedule with fully staffed APP support, and opportunities for collaboration with UT MD Anderson and University of Arizona.

Qualifications

• Board Certified/Eligible in Hematology/Oncology or Medical Oncology.
• Interest in inpatient service and subspecialization.
• Open to experienced and new graduates.
• Clinical research interest preferred.

Responsibilities

• Inpatient rounding with the hospital team and responding to consults.
• No outpatient responsibilities required.
• Night calls from the hospital may occur, addressed next day.
• Collaborate with fully staffed APP support.

TheDivision of Cancer Medicine is actively recruiting a Hematologist/Oncologist to join our inpatient team as an Onco-Hospitalist at the Banner MD Anderson Cancer Center at Banner University Medical Center - Phoenix. This candidate will join a national leader in multidisciplinary cancer care, education, and discovery at a thriving academic based campus.

As part of the cancer centers multidisciplinary team, the selected oncologist will enjoy a 7 on / 7 off schedule and a team that includes fully staffed APP support. Physician will be present at the hospital during business hours, rounding with patients and responding to consults as required. Physician would be available nights for calls coming in from the hospital/team but consult requests coming in overnight are addressed early the next day. Outpatient responsibilities are not required.
