Physician / Surgery - General / California / Locum or Permanent / Vascular Surgeon Opportunity North of Sacramento, CA

Seeking BE/BC Vascular Surgeon to join a team near Chico, CA. Details include:

1. One physician practice, no midlevel staff
2. Current schedule: 2 days in clinic, approximately 10-12 half days and 20-25 full days
3. Ideal clinic coverage: 5 days/week
4. Call: 1 in 2, with a heavy inpatient consult load

Compensation:

• Based on a percentage of charges, moving to a wRVU model in the future

Hospital and Community:

• Truly independent, community-based hospital within a nationally ranked non-profit healthcare system
• Wide range of medical services including imaging, outpatient care, and diagnostic laboratory testing
• $200 million expansion project due for completion in 2022

The Community:

• Located in the upper Sacramento Valley at the Sierra Nevada foothills, alongside the Feather River and Lake Oroville
• County seat of Butte County with a hospital service population of approximately 80,000
• A hub for cultural, recreational, and educational activities with a Mediterranean climate
