Job description

Seeking BE/BC Cardiothoracic Surgeon in Dayton, OH

We are looking for a qualified Cardiothoracic Surgeon to join our team in Dayton, Ohio.

Our system performs all aspects of cardiac surgery (excluding LVAD and transplant) and general thoracic surgery. Currently, the program conducts over 500 open-heart surgeries annually, 100 TAVRs, and more than 300 general thoracic cases, including a new ECMO program.

The new position will involve approximately 70% thoracic and 30% cardiac surgery. We seek a surgeon who embraces a multidisciplinary team approach to tailor complex treatments for thoracic and oncology patients. Our current surgeons offer expertise in multiarterial coronary artery bypass, minimally invasive valve surgery, arrhythmia surgery, complex valvular heart disease, heart failure, thoracic aortic surgery, thoracoscopic and robotic lung resection, and esophageal oncological and mediastinal surgeries. There are opportunities for clinical research in collaboration with Wright State University.

The successful candidate will join three cardiothoracic surgeons and will work across our Level 1 Trauma Center and a Level III Trauma Center, located 20 miles apart.
