This hospital is seeking a General Surgeon with fellowship training in breast surgery for a full-time academic position in the Department of Surgery. As the first accredited breast center in the state and the only accredited center in the region, we provide comprehensive breast care, including all diagnostic studies, evaluations, and procedures in one location.

Job Requirements (by the time of appointment):

1. MD, DO degree or foreign equivalent from an ACGME-accredited program
2. Completion of a general surgery residency
3. Completion of an SSO breast surgery fellowship
4. Board certification or board eligibility by the American Board of Surgery in General Surgery
5. Ability and passion for educating residents and medical students
6. Willingness to participate in academic, clinical research, or other scholarly activities as required
7. Eligible for WV Medical License at the time of appointment
8. No general surgery call required; call optional if desired
